ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS FOR DUMPSTERS
- Bricks and masonry material (10-20 Yard container only – approximately 1/3 full)
- Bulk amount of leaves and grass clippings (Yard Waste must be separated from all other materials
- Clean rubble (rock, concrete, dirt), (10-20 Yard container only – approximately 1/3 full)
- Clothing
- Common garbage
- Construction related packaging from builders
- Electrical wiring and components containing no hazardous material
- Furniture Mattress and box spring
- Metal scraps
- Mobile homes and trailers with tires and fuel tanks removed
- Motor vehicle glass Non-asbestos insulation
- Painted or coated wood
- Plaster and drywall
- Plumbing fixture
- Plywood Sheets, towels, pillows or other bedding items
- Roofing materials
- Toys
- Trash bags
- Treated wood
- Trees, brush and sod (Yard Waste must be separated from all other material)
- Untreated wood and sawdust
- Vegetation from land clearing or grubbing (Yard Waste must be separated from all other material)
- Vegetation from seasonal or storm cleanup (Yard Waste must be separated from all other material)
- Vegetation from utility maintenance (Yard Waste must be separated from all other material)
- Wall and flooring coverings
- Waste from food consumption at construction or demolition site
- Wood pallets
UNACCEPATBLE MATERIALS FOR DUMPSTERS
- Appliances (all white goods) Refrigerators, hot water tanks
- Buckets with paint, solvents, etc.
- Computer monitors or other computer components
- Drums and containers
- Electrical equipment containing hazardous material
- Friable asbestos
- Hazardous Waste
- Lawnmowers with oil and gas
- Liquid Waste
- Outdoor grills with propane tank
- Propane tanks (all sizes)
- Spray paint cans or containers
- TV’s, VCR’s, stereos or similar electronic waste
- Dirt, mud, concrete, cement, bricks, and rocks including gravel and other earthly materials
- If dumping shingles or tiles please call first to discuss
- Tires: We advise you to take them to a tire shop. If tires are found we will charge you $30 for each one
- Paint cans and Lacquers: due to containing mercury
- Adhesives, such as but not limited to: Glue and Epoxy we advise you to throw these away with your regular household trash.
- Car Batteries: and lithium batteries aren’t allowed in the dumpsters because they contain chemicals that are harmful to the environment
- Medical Waste: Such as needles, bandages, and other items that have been exposed to body fluids. These items required a hauler with a special license for medical waste disposal
- Hazardous Waste Materials and liquids labeled hazardous waste, such as but not limited to: asbestos, pesticides, contaminated soils, oil other automotive fluids, fuels, tanks, flammable materials, household cleaners, inks, hospital waste. We advise contacting your local hazardous waste collection center near you
- Metal tanks and drums carrying toxic or dangerous byproducts. You would need to contact a hauler that is licensed to haul hazardous waste
